As president of corporate development, Colin Brown is responsible for Constellis' business development efforts and growth strategy. Joining the company in November 2014, Colin first served as senior vice president of risk management in which he assisted clients in understanding, managing and responding to a variety of risks and contingencies on a global scale.
Colin has over 27 years of experience in various aspects of security and crisis management in the public and private sector, within multinational businesses and as a services provider. Prior to joining Constellis, he was the global head of security for the De Beers Group and chief advisor of security for Rio Tinto Diamonds. Colin also served as a director, country manager and senior consultant for Control Risks and held senior appointments within the insurance and technology industries.
With the majority of his service belonging to the Parachute Regiment, Colin left the British Army in 1999 having completed the Joint Services Advanced Command and Staff College. He holds a Master of Arts from Cranfield University, an Executive Masters from HEC Paris, and a Postgraduate Certificate from Cambridge University. He is also a Chartered Security Professional and a Certified Professional Practitioner.
