Martin Rudd joined Olive Group in 2005 and in 2008 was made managing director, moving to the company’s corporate headquarters in Dubai. Under Martin’s oversight, Olive Group has grown both organically and by acquisition, acquiring Stirling Group in North Africa in 2013, and Newport Africa in Kenya in 2015.
In 2015, the group merged with Constellis. As a result of the merger, Constellis is now one of the world’s largest dedicated risk management companies with more than 8,000 employees operating in more than 25 countries worldwide.
Later that same year, Martin was appointed as chief executive officer of the commercial division, under which he is responsible for the global delivery of the company’s full range of risk management services to commercial clients.
Martin’s early career in the British Army saw him serve in a wide variety of staff and operational appointments, including logistics, bomb disposal and Special Forces.
He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Imperial College London, a master’s degree in military studies, technology and procurement from Cranfield University, and a master’s degree in defense and international studies from Kings College London. He is also a graduate of the UK’s Advanced Command and Staff College.
