Fire Prevention Inspector

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Full Time Fire Prevention Inspector

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintenance check of assigned vehicle.
  • Inspect facilities and associated fire protection systems for deficiencies and report deficiencies to the client.
  • You will collect technical information on the building/facility.
  • You will research technical manuals, fire codes, or trade reference books to gain additional information and ascertain the fire characteristics.
  • You will exercise authority to shut down any operation where violations represent a clearly demonstrable threat to public safety.
  • You will conduct fire and life safety training and secure involvement in fire prevention, detection, and suppression.
  • You will provide fire warden training to installation personnel to ensure compliance with day to day fire prevention regulations within designated building and facilities.
  • You will document inspection findings and deficiencies in the data management system.
  • Track, inspect, and replace extinguishers as needed.
  • Other tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • US Citizen
  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Valid drivers’ license
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Must be certified, as an IFSAC/ProBoard, Fire Inspector II and in HazMat Awareness.
  • Must obtain Public Fire and Life Safety Educator within 12 months of hire.

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy office and field environment. Business work hours are 40 hours a week. Ability to work during inclement weather.  Travel may be required.  Subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, high noise levels, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.  Must wear multiple types of PPE.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

May lift and carry up to 50 lbs.  Must have visual and audio acuity to operate motor vehicles.  May be required to be fitted for and/or wear a respirator.  Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, often without breaks, and may be required to climb stairs or ladders and walk up inclines and on uneven terrain.  Must meet all physical and psychological standards as required by the contract.

Driving Instructor

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Driving Training Instructor will be responsible for providing quality training on tactical driving and operations as well as serving as a subject matter expert and resource for all aspects of tactical driver’s training and operations. The primary responsibility of each Instructor is the safety and well-being of all students during all training activities they lead. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide instructional and conduct guidance to students
  • Manage course flow to meet training curriculum guidelines and timelines
  • Ensure proper setup of the driving track
  • Explain and demonstrate the use of equipment
  • Conduct in car driver training in the following areas: Advanced Highway Safety, Beyond Normal Limits Driving, Tactical Driver Training (HMMWV driver training, off-road driver training and recovery techniques, high center of gravity vehicle driver training, and Evasive Actions)
  • Observe and evaluate the individual participants’ driving habits and reactions under various driving conditions to determine suitable remedial instruction and practice
  • Communicate and enforce safety procedures
  • Ensure safety of all students
  • Identify training requirements needed in a timely manner to maintain required certifications and Company standards, and completes all required continuing education and refresher training programs
  • Completes any additional training and/or certifications required by the government or the contract
  • Completes and files all required reports and documentation in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Citizenship is required 
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid US drivers license and satisfactory driver record
  • Must be willing to operate Company vehicle
  • Two years of Law Enforcement and/or Military Operations experience and/or Professional Driving experience is required
  • Must have successfully completed the ACADEMI Open Enrollment Driving Instructor Course
  • Must be experienced in instructional techniques and proficient in MS Office   
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion

POSITION: Case Reviewer

Job Duties:

Provide advice and guidance to investigators on investigative and formatting requirements; Monitor pending cases to ensure compliance with delivery due dates and track submission of investigative leads; prioritize cases where noteworthy or derogatory information is developed; Monitor pending cases, review and revise reports of investigation; Check for quality and take necessary actions to complete case; notate Investigator Quality Performance remarks; Schedule additional leads as discovered in investigation. Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • Minimum 18 years of age;
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent;
  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; experience in background investigations and knowledge of the background investigation process to include thorough understanding of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 requirements; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form;

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides administrative support to the Three Rivers Program Management Office. Duties include scheduling meetings and events, processing data, providing training, and creating documents, spreadsheets and presentations. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Background Investigator

POSITION: Background Investigator 

 

  • Candidate must be local to Fairfax, VA

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct federal background investigations and prepare reports of investigations in compliance with Federal Investigative Standards, all laws, and other required federal agency regulations. Work cases throughout the geographic area of responsibility and travel to various places of employment, residence and education institutions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 1 year within the last five (5) years of investigations experience at the federal, state, or local level of government;
  • Must have some mix of NBIB/DCSA/FIS Experience;
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record;
  • Willing to travel on temporary duty assignments as needed (by car or plane);
  • Successfully pass background checks and all required training;
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;

  • Conduct in-person, one-on-one subject interviews to obtain factual information about the individual’s background and character, in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.
  • Obtain factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation that contains all pertinent facts of an individual’s background and character in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.
  • Travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility to conduct investigations at various places of employment, residence, and education institutions as cases are assigned.
  •  Must be willing to travel in and around assigned location within 30-50 miles (or more) as needed
  • Engage in dialogue on a regular basis with managers and representatives at contractor facilities, various U. S. Government organizations, and law enforcement agencies to develop and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
  • Adapt to changing situations and environments as they occur and be able to interact with people from all walks of life and socioeconomic levels.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills and exhibit professional demeanor in all situations.
  • Work load based on availability of cases in geographic area.
  • Some voluntary, temporary duty assignments in other areas of the country (typically 2-4 weeks at a time) are possible.

 Desired Experience and Education:

  • Office of Personnel Management investigator training.
  • Prior background investigations experience supporting government contracts.
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.

Program Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for overall program management and the primary POC for the client and corporate personnel. In addition to providing project and personnel oversight and ensuring compliance with contract requirements, the Program Manager oversees and manages an armed security guard force.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure employees perform all duties and requirements of the contract to include quality of services and supplies, timeliness of all deliverables, control costs, compliance with all government reporting requirements, quality control, and management of key personnel.
  • Supervise all individuals working under this contract.  
  • Manage the operational schedule to ensure that all posts have coverage per the contract.
  • Be available to ensure prompt response in the event of an emergency or exigent circumstance.
  • Have overall responsibility for implementing, monitoring, and upgrading the program quality control plan and is responsible for ensuring the work force complies with program requirements.
  • Serve as the focal point for the client for all program activities and be responsible for overall quality and standards conformance in accordance with the SOW.
  • Ensure all equipment and property is tracked and accounted for, and otherwise safeguarded.
  • Ensure that all employees are in compliance with all contract and state requirements.
  • Develop and update local SOPs as required.

POSITION: Experienced Background Investigator – DCSA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct federal background investigations and prepare reports of investigations in compliance with Federal Investigative Standards, all laws, and other required federal agency regulations. Work cases throughout the geographic area of responsibility and travel to various places of employment, residence, and education institutions.

$24.00 – $41.32/Hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. Citizenship;
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 1 year within the last five (5) years of investigations experience on the OPM/NBIB/DCSA contract or similar contract utilizing Federal Investigative Standards (FIS);

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Conduct in-person, one-on-one subject interviews to obtain factual information about the individuals’ background and character, in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.
  • Obtain factual information from a variety of personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation that contains all pertinent facts of an individual’s background and character in accordance with agency guidelines and instructions.
  • Travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility to conduct investigations at various places of employment, residence, and education institutions as cases are assigned.
  • Must be willing to travel in and around assigned location within 30-50 miles (or more) as needed.
  • Engage in dialogue on a regular basis with managers and representatives at contractor facilities, various U. S. Government organizations, and law enforcement agencies to develop and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
  • Adapt to changing situations and environments as they occur and be able to interact with people from all walks of life and socioeconomic levels.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills and exhibit professional demeanor in all situations.
  • Work load based on availability of cases in geographic area.
  • Some voluntary, temporary duty assignments in other areas of the country (typically 2-4 weeks at a time) are possible.
  • Other duties as required.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.
  • Current Top Secret clearance.

WORKING CONDITIONS:  

Work is typically based in the investigator’s home office as well as in the investigator’s personal vehicle traveling to various field locations to conduct interviews. Coverage area varies and could include some extended drives. Work hours vary depending on availability of leads and do not always fall within normal business hours, to include potential weekend hours or third-shift appointments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires intermittent standing, writing/typing, walking, sitting, and driving throughout the workday, and may include multiple hours.

Transportation Driver

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Driver will transport personnel and visitors in Company vehicles. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently with constant awareness of road conditions, particularly in poor weather and heavy traffic
  • Avoid passenger-jarring maneuvers, such as sudden stops and turns, and potential accident-causing situations
  • Follow specific regularly scheduled routes, charter routes or responds to requests from dispatch or management for unscheduled pickups or drop-offs
  • Assist passengers in boarding and exiting vehicles
  • Load and unload luggage, packages and other items
  • Monitor traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch of potential problems
  • Report accidents or other safety situations to dispatch
  • Inspect exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior courtesy lamps, air conditioning or heating, warning lamps, mirror adjustment, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, and vehicle damage prior to moving vehicle
  • Ensure inside and outside of vehicle are properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis
  • Keep interior of vehicle neat and orderly
  • Monitor vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage to the service writer
  • Learn and provide guests and passengers with appropriate information regarding lodging, entertainment and attractions within service area
  • Learn and remember locations of various destination points serviced by the fleet including lodging, entertainment and attraction sites 
  • Treat all guests, customers, and other persons in a courteous, friendly and professional manner
  • Communicate by two-way radio and telephone
  • Assist with the pick-up and delivery of packages as needed
  • Assist with cleaning and staging of vehicles as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record for the last three years
  • Must maintain a good driving record
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion. 
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process. 
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • CDL preferred

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push or move objects up to 25 lbs. Various tasks may require intermittent standing or prolonged sitting, and the ability to walk, reach, kneel, crouch and handle work related supplies and tools.
