The Academi Carbine One course is a two-day course designed for the individual with no formal firearms training. Students will learn and understand firearms safety rules, safety procedures and how to make a firearm safe from any condition. The students will learn the fundamentals of carbine shooting. The core topics will be marksmanship, presentation from different ready positions, reloads and malfunctions, and various shooting positions.

This two-day course covers the Mossberg 500/590/590DA shotgun systems and provides instruction on how to diagnose and repair malfunctions, return shotguns to factory specifications, perform function inspections, check headspace and more. After completion of the course, students will be able to repair and maintain Mossberg 500 series shotguns to factory standards.
